Our story
A control specialist who still wires houses
Most smart home firms are integrators who bring an electrician in with them. The rest are electricians who have bolted on a product they only half understand. We do both ends ourselves, which is really the whole point of the company.
Ross has 16+ years across domestic, commercial and industrial installation, including control panel work and production-line commissioning on food-handling systems. Industrial jobs have to run for years with nobody looking at them, and the habits stick. Cable routes get planned. Control sits in one labelled enclosure. Every function gets proven on site before we call the job finished.
As an Official Loxone Partner we do whole-home and whole-building automation: lighting, heating and HVAC, blinds, audio, access, CCTV and alarms on one system. We also do the ordinary work. Rewires, consumer unit upgrades, EICRs and testing, commercial installations, EV charge points and solar.
Our clients are homeowners renovating or extending, self-builders who want the infrastructure right at first fix, landlords who need certification that holds up, and commercial sites running Loxone, Trend, KNX or Schneider. We work from Derby (DE22) across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire and South Yorkshire.
We keep the company small on purpose. Three tradespeople on the tools, an admin assistant keeping quotes, certificates and diaries moving, and Ross leading design and commissioning. That is enough people to keep a rewire on programme, and few enough that whoever designed your system is the one who hands it over.

Certified to Full Scope
We are NAPIT registered at Full Scope, which covers all aspects of electrical work. Everything is tested, certified and notified, and you get the paperwork building control, insurers or a future buyer will ask for.
Guaranteed workmanship
Qualifying installations carry a NAPIT-backed 6-year workmanship guarantee, issued in writing at handover. Everything else carries at least 12 months.
Properly insured
£10m public and employers' liability on every job, domestic or commercial. Most main contractors want to see it before you set foot on site, so we keep it to hand.
A small, named team
Three tradespeople and an admin assistant, led by Ross Hutchinson. Ross does the survey, the design and the commissioning, so you are dealing with the same faces from the first visit to handover.
Nobody working to a sales target
The first visit is free and you owe us nothing afterwards. If a simpler system will do the job, we will say so. We would rather keep you as a customer than sell you kit you did not need.
